The Sanctuary Holiday House - Hazelbrook Blue Mountains
The Sanctuary is handily located in Hazelbrook in the beautiful Blue Mountains. When the weather is fine, there are some lovely local bushwalks, or you have just a half hour drive up to Wentworth Falls, Leura and Katoomba to enjoy all the touristy stuff.
If the weather is inclement, there is a cupboard full of board games and jigsaws, TV & DVD player, CD player and a selection of CDs and books; or it's just a half hour drive down to the busy and vibrant Penrith shopping centres (markets are held each Wednesday at the footy ground).
The Sanctuary has 3 comfortable double bedrooms - with electric blankets. There is a slow combustion stove (wood not supplied), the living room has a reverse-cycle air conditioner, and there are small heaters and fans in each bedroom. Sheets and towels are provided.
The small front garden is private and great to sit over breakfast or a cuppa. There is also a BBQ that can be enjoyed. The back yard is a good size for kids to run around. The kitchen contains all you need (except the food!), and the laundry has a front loader and dryer.
Rent is $320 per night during peak times (Christmas, Easter, school holidays) with a minimum of a three night stay, and during the rest of the year it is $200 per night with a minimum two night stay. Bookings should be made as much in advance as possible to get the dates you want. A non-refundable deposit of $150 secures the desired dates. The remainder of the payment is to be made by bank deposit no more than one week prior to your stay. This ensures that your holiday is free from this complication.
